Tuesday teh 8th of April marked the 4th annual installment of the Largy College TY Dragons' Den, where students took to the stage to compete in front of six esteemed "dragons" for the coveted title of the 2025 Dragons' Den winner. This year's event showcased an impressive variety of businesses, ranging from men's boxers to hot chocolate bombs. However, only one team could claim the top spot, and the winner was Creating Clones—a fun and engaging activity book designed around Clones by Amy, Therese, Aoibheann, and Kate.

Second place went to JOC's (James, Odhran, and Conn), who introduced mystery pack men's boxers, while third place was awarded to Sustainsip by Sean and Dylan, with their innovative recycled drink sleeves made from repurposed wetsuits sourced from Tanagh Outdoor Activity Centre. The judges were blown away by the remarkable standard of this year's entries.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to this year's judges: Tonya Douglas, Shane O'Connor, Vincent McQuaid, Marc McArdle, Darren Greenan, and Adrian Kelly. A special mention goes to Adrian Kelly, the mastermind behind the show, who continues to inspire our TY students to establish successful businesses.

We also extend our thanks to all the participating teams: Creating Clones, JOC's, Sustainsip, Brownies N Bites, Blissful Bursts, Bloom Body, Leg It, and Everything Emerald. Additionally, we acknowledge Twisty Threads, Wildrose Glamping, PrintaCase, and Oddjobz, who, though not featured in this year's show, contributed greatly to the entrepreneurial spirit of the event.

Finally, we wish to commend the students who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the event's success: Chloe and Phelim as MCs; Amy, Bethan, and Eva on sound and slides; Ellen, Emma, and Gabrielle on catering; and Ruth on photography. Your hard work and dedication did not go unnoticed—thank you for helping bring this fantastic event to life!
