National ActionAid Speech Writing Competition final.The final competition was held in the Royal Irish Academy (RIA). Subject overview:

In CSPE student learn how to look after their world through good stewardship practice. They also learn how to look after the people of our world by examining the interconnected nature of humankind, exploring human dignity as well as the concepts of law and politics.

CSPE gives students the ability and confidence to participate in a democratic society. It develops the autonomous potential of students as a socially literate, independent and self-confident young people who can apply empathy and imagination in learning about and encountering other people and cultures. CSPE promotes a system of values based in human rights but also social responsibilities.
