Parents’ Association

The Parents’ Association works to build effective partnership between the home and school. Ongoing research shows that family engagement in schools improves student achievement, reduces absenteeism, and builds parents' confidence in their children's education.

The Parents' Association has a long record of involvement in Largy College. We always encourage parents to take an active part in this important link between school and home. It is important that parents get involved and don’t leave it to the few. Participation in the Parents' Association only involves 4 or 5 meetings per year.

Current Officers:

Chairperson: Rory McMahon

Secretary: Cynthia Stewart

School Link: Seamus Roche (HSCL)
