The RE Club in Largy College continued to work hard on various projects during this academic year. We are delighted that the RE Club has grown in numbers to include Niamh, Ruth, Jessica, Bethan, Emma, Chloe, Kate, Casey, Leah, Ava, Patrick and Ryan. We are very proud of their efforts this year. As always the highlight of the year for the RE Club was organising the Lots of Socks Day on 21st March 2024 in school. The RE Club raised awareness among our students regarding Down Syndrome through their wonderful presentation during Tutor Class. The RE Club raised €520.80 for The Down Syndrome Centre, North East which is located in Carrickmacross. Photographed are the wonderful students in the RE Club.

The RE Club and Mrs Fitzpatrick would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank Brendan Jenkins and Clones Credit Union for assisting the RE Club with the organisation of the cheque and for kindly donating to our fundraising efforts for The Down Syndrome Centre, North East. The RE Club handed over a cheque amounting to €550 to The Down Syndrome Centre, North East. A big thank you to Ms Magennis and to Mr Corey for supporting the RE Club with their endeavours throughout the year. Thank you to Ms Rossiter and Ms McGonnell for assisting the students in the Art Department with decorating their socks.
